This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north 

central Nebraska.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.



The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.



Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon, focusing

across the Sandhills and eastern Panhandle. A few storms may become

strong to severe with damaging wind gusts and large hail the main

concerns.



Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon

and evening for much of the Sandhills into north central Nebraska.

Storms could again become strong to severe with damaging winds and

large hail the main concerns.



The combination of afternoon highs climbing into the upper 90s and

increased low-level humidity should again push heat index values into

the upper 90s and low triple digits Saturday afternoon.
