High pressure will remain in control through the next several

days. Dangerous heat will continue today along with 

the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Expect sea

breeze to take effect around 2 pm today although winds may be light out

of south all day. Expect isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms

beginning around 2pm as well. Typical summertime pattern returns 

late week and this weekend. The next frontal system approaches the 

east coast mid next week.
