...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...



  Neches River Near Alto affecting Angelina, Anderson, Houston and 

  Cherokee Counties.



  Neches River Near Diboll affecting Angelina, Trinity and Polk 

  Counties.



  Neches River Near Neches affecting Cherokee and Anderson Counties.



For the Neches River...including Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland...

Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.



* WHEN...Until Monday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the 

  heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be 

  completely inundated.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.1 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 11:15 AM CDT Thursday was 17.3 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    Sunday morning and continue falling to 14.8 feet Tuesday

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    17.1 feet on 04/03/2017.

  paths, and trails.  Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 10:15 AM CDT Thursday was 14.3 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 14.2 feet

    through this afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    14.2 feet on 02/26/1960.

    ending at 10:30 AM CDT Thursday was 13.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 13.2 feet

    through this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage

    early Monday morning.

  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    13.3 feet on 01/20/2017.
