...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HENDERSON AND NORTH

CENTRAL GREENVILLE COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...



At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10

miles south of Hendersonville, or 6 miles southwest of Saluda. This

storm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Glassy Mountain, North Saluda Reservoir, and Tuxedo.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
