...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LA CROSSE...SOUTHWESTERN

JACKSON...NORTHWESTERN MONROE AND SOUTHEASTERN TREMPEALEAU COUNTIES

THROUGH 500 PM CDT...



At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Blair to near Onalaska. Movement was

northeast at 45 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  West Salem and North Bend around 435 PM CDT.

  Black River Falls and Cataract around 450 PM CDT.



Other locations impacted by these storms include Franklin, North Side

Of La Crosse, Shamrock, Camp Decorah, Stevenstown, Perry Creek

Recreation Area, Rockland, County Roads D E And E, Blue Bird

Campground, and Mindoro.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 94 between mile markers 106 and 120.

 Interstate 90 in Wisconsin between mile markers 1 and 31.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for west central

Wisconsin.
