Survey Summary: First visible indication of the tornado occurred

via a photo report time stamped at 1020pm. The tornado tracked

across 117th Ave SE and damaged 3 power poles. Continued to the 

NE turning to the north evidenced via satellite imagery where it 

reached its maximum width of 350 yards in an open field. From

there it turned back to the NW and struck the farm house and grove

of trees. This is where the peak damage indicators show winds

around 120 mph. As the tornado roped out another power pole was

damaged to the northwest of the farmstead.

Survey Summary: This tornado tracked SE across rural southern 

Cass county lasting about 7 minutes and tracking for almost 7 

miles across mostly open country. The only damage indicators where

trees in shelter belts. Track and width were assessed via

satellite imagery. Scour marks in the field reached 100 yards at

its max.

Survey Summary: Video and photo evidence was used to confirm this

nearly stationary tornado. This tornado remained in open country

with no damage observed as it tracked slowly southeast for roughly

a half a mile.
